Newt’s Campaign implodes

Well, today, most of Newt Gingrich’s upper level staff walked out.   Conflicts of campaign strategery seems to be one of the main problems.  I do not think Newt really had a chance to win, he has too much baggage and his time has come an gone.   New will stay in the race, but I do not think he will get any traction.

Republican Newt Gingrich’s senior presidential campaign aides, as well as key staff in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, have resigned en masse.

Craig Schoenfeld, who was running Gingrich’s campaign in Iowa, discussed the departures with The Des Moines Register. The resignations were first reported by the Associated Press.

Among the departed: national campaign manager Rob Johnson and press secretary Rick Tyler. Politico said the aides quit over a “different vision” for the campaign.
