Only the good die young

When I got to work today, I saw ion twitter that Andrew Breitbart was dead.   I was thinking that this was a hoax.  There are many of those going around on celebrities dying.  But when it came out that this was confirmed, my heart skipped a beat.   This is shocking news and also very sad news.

I got to meet Andrew Breitbart at Smart Girls Summit here in St Louis.  And it was like we were friends forever.  The Man Behind the Mask , is a very humble and very personable guy.  He would talk to you like he has known you all your life.

If you never saw him on TV or a picture in the paper, you would probably never believe this is the guy that is leading the charge in alternative news media.  He has taken on the MSM and has made a big dent in the facade that the media actually there to tell you news.  With the BIG sites, he has all bases of US culture covered, and has some very excellent bloggers/journalists on them.  He has lead the charge on changing the perception the MSM spouts and has made many people think more that just believe the MSM’s word.

He was not much older than me, I am turning 40 this summer.  Makes you think, I was just 18 yesterday wasn’t I?
He has got some big shoes to fill, and I do not think there will ever be another Andrew Breitbart, but we all have a little of him in us.  He is the inspiration to many of us, his never quit and always on attack attitude is needed in the Conservative Movement.

It is a sad day, but we  must continue his quest and never quit and never back down.
