It has begun

While the Tea Party and Conservatives in general doing very well in 2010, it has seemed that some of the enthusiasm waned.  Especially in the GOP primary this year.   The Conservatives were divided and basically going after each other  and it seems that they lost momentum.  But is the Conservative Movement and tea Party done?

There are many races other than the Presidential elections gong on this year.   And if Richard Mourdock’s win over Lugar is a glimpse at what is to come, I think the Movement is alive and well.

The Tea Party has moved on from just doing rallies.   Many are volunteering for campaigns now and filling positions in the GOP.   And many are running, as my friends Andrew Ian Dodge and Steve Foley are doing.

The Tea Party is not dead, but maturing into more than just rallies.   Conservatives are now getting more involved and we can infiltrate and help shape how the GOP goes.   As with Cold Warriors Precinct Committeeman Project and other similar projects.   As we have seen with Ron Paul’s troops and their taking over many caucuses all over the place, the Conservatives can also do this also.

The presidency may be going to Mitt Romney, not exactly a great friend to the Tea Party, but we can start at the local level and work our way up.

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of the slow move to the left in the GOP and we can get control of the outrageous spending and overbearing regulations.   This is a great victory for the Tea Party and the Conservative Movement.  But we must not stop here and keep the pressure on the GOP
