The Left have lost their collective minds

A few weeks ago Chris Loesch was kicked off of Twitter 3 times, for basically defending his wife, Dana.  Dana has had death threats, rape threats and various other kinds of violent threats against her.  Her along with many other Conservative females have been dealing with these kinds of threats for years, just ask Sarah Palin.

And now we have the Left loosing their collective minds over a metaphor.  My friend Scott Boston said:

“We have to kill the Claire Bear ladies and gentlemen,” Tea Party activist Scott Boston said at a rally on Thursday. “She walks around like she’s some sort of Rainbow Brite Care Bear or something but really she’s an evil monster.” The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the remark received “mild applause.” —Huffington Post

 

To me this is a call to defeat the idea that Claire McCaskill is a nice and caring person.  Which in reality, she is a political hack for the Obama administration and puts on a Moderate face to the people of MO, but votes in line with her Democrat friends.   I do not see any kind of threatening rhetoric to Claire personally, but I do understand metaphors.  It seems the people on the Left do not, unless it is Hoffa calling to “take the Sons of Bitches out” or Obama saying “punch back twice as Hard“.  But Scott saying

I am a St Louis Blues fan and have many times heard at games to “Kill Bertuzzi, get the Sundeen Sisters, etc etc”.   This is what you call metaphor, or a figure of speech. No one is really calling for the death of Bertuzzi of the Sundeen twins.  Maybe the Left in this country do not understand and have Aphasia:

Do I agree or condone what Scott said?   Well yes and no.   I may have said it a little differently , but I understood the meaning and agree with it 100%.  People need to see Claire McCaskill for who she is, a shill for the far left in this country.  Her public persona of a moderate nice person needs to be taken away.  Unfortunately I live in the Socialist State of IL and cannot vote her out of office.

Politics is an ugly business and the use of colorful language has been going on since the first political debates began.  Scott calling for the death of a mythical cartoon character or the public persona of Claire McCaskill is nothing new.   And for the Left to go on the war path on this is asinine.
