2 More Days

In 2 days we will know what track the country wants to go on.   Will we stay on course and go over the fiscal cliff of Greece and have 8% unemployment as the norm.  Or will we go in a different direction and get the foot of the Fed GOV off the throat of businesses and regain economic stability.   The choice is yours

This has been a very long and crazy campaign cycle.   It seems like it has been going on for 4 years now, ever since Obama was inaugurated.   Well, at least for some of us.   This campaign season has been ugly and seems to make new lows on a daily basis.   But in 2 days it will be over

My prediction is that Mitt Romney will win in a landslide and get over 300 electoral votes.   He has the momentum and the lack of enthusiasm for Obama is telling.   Most of the polls are using the assumptions that Obama will retain the same amount of people that he did on 2008.   Which seems a little bit much from the crowds at his campaign stops compared to Romney’s.

In my local race for CONgress critter, it looks like Jason Plummer has a good chance to beat Bill Enyart (I know Bill Enyart, he is a good guy and I am friends with his son, and he was my mom’s law partner).   But the GOP and many groups have put up ads against Enyart.   It will be a close race and that is amazing coming from St Clair County and this area, since there has not been a Republican elected for any large position really since I was born.

And in my neighboring State of MO, Akin may squeak out a win , even with his ridiculous statement.   He has apologized for it and MCCaskill cannot run from her Liberal leanings and scandals that plagued her.

The only thing now is to go out and vote, if you have not already early voted.   This is going to be a GOTV race.  And I see the GOP has the edge at least from what I have seen so far.   If you have already voted, go and tell you friends, family and neighbors to go and vote.   If you have not voted go and vote on Tues.

This is going to be one of the defining elections in out countries history.  We are going “Forward” over the fiscal cliff, and we have a chance to change course and stop the “Forward” momentum and walk back from the cliff’s edge.
