The Ranting of a Conservatarian

Another installment of the Ranting of a Conservatarian.

Ah the insanity out there is ablaze with more interesting nonsense.   The Sandy Hook Hoaxers are still alive and well. and the birthers are still out there.  When are we going to learn that most of these stories are made up and complete nonsense and mostly there to make us all look like loons.  Ah well, the insanity continues.

Now onto other business.   Twitter seems to be in full on idiocy mode with #TGDN.  The Twitter Gulag Defense Network that was thought up by @ToddKincannon .  Basically it is a system to help people from getting gulaged from Twitter by the Leftist trolls who thought it was a good idea to stop people from Free Speech..  We first saw this when Chris Loesh was banned by leftist on twitter.  And Todd came up with a plan to get those on the right to get ahead of this.  By getting all those on the right together and follow each other and get to over 3000 followers, which helps block the trolls from gulaging people.  But of course there has to be drama and all Hell broke out.   People pissed that they were not put on a list fast enough, or that Tod has some kind of scam going.   UGH.

Well the thing is he was overwhelmed and could not keep up and then people that hate each other started going after each other.   #HEADDESK   And people wonder why we lost in November.   We could not even get along to stop the LEFT from kicking us off of twitter, and we think we can actually get someone elected to the President.   OY

This kind of crap needs to stop.   I know I do not agree with everything that Todd does or says, but I also understand that he is on my side against the LEFT.  The True enemy.   But  as someone said “All My Tweets” it is a soap opera on twitter.

Herding Cats come to mind:

Again, if we want to get anything done, we are going to have to play nice together.  Most of us agree with each other at least 80% of the time.  And if you disagree with someone, debate them, but do not go into full blown insanity mode and go ballistic.   While we all are stubborn for the most part on many issues, and we get into bunker mode, we must remember that for the most part we agree on the majority of issues.  At times we may have to bite our tongues and not debate every single issue.  If we go after each other, we just push those that may want to join us away.   And if you cannot get past your own ego or someone else’s , it is better to ignore them than to make a battlefield on twitter and other places online.   Or it may be better to email or go back channel and debate that way, then to give the LEFT more fodder.
